About Retainers
After completing orthodontic treatment, retainers ensure that your teeth do not shift back to their previous position. You will receive a set of clear retainers included in your treatment cost. And be sure to ask about our Free Retainers for Life program, because when life happens, we want to be there to help.
Retainer Options
Clear Retainers
Clear retainers, often called Essix retainers, are nearly invisible retainers that hold your sparkly new smile in place!
Hawley Retainers
Hawley retainers use a combination of a hard plastic, or acrylic plate, and a thin metal wire to lock in your beautiful new smile
The Steps
Step 1: Scan for Retainers
At the second to last appointment, our team scans your teeth to send off to the lab.
Step 2: The Lab Builds the Retainers
Our lab can build either a clear Essix retainer or Hawley retainer personally fit for you.
Step 3: Retainers are Delivered
At your last appointment after Invisalign is complete or braces come off we will have your retainers waiting for you.
Step 4: Wear them For-ev-er
Your teeth will fight to go back to their original position, but retainers will hold them in place. And when life happens, we’ve got you covered with our Free Retainers for Life program!
